Mocha Molly is on the go
This last July we purchased a mobile coffee trailer and we had an awesome summer of farmer’s markets, back to school events, private parties, and community events!
It feels so good to be mobile, and we can’t wait for what next summer will bring.
A few things to note -
It’s a smaller trailer and the capabilities are limited. We do not have an espresso machine equipped so there are no hot lattes. We can offer several other hot beverages along with tons of cold beverages. With such a small trailer I don’t have the water storage to run an espresso machine and still have water for the health department required 3 sinks and a dedicated handwashing sink. There are a lot of other hot options to work with inside the limits.
It’s a “weather permitting” kind of trailer. If it’s snowing too bad or blowing too hard I won’t take it on the road. With that being said, if you have an event on the books I will get the trailer there days before, if the weather is iffy. This year I packed it up for the winter and plan on using it mostly in the summer. There was one Christmas party at the fairgrounds inside the Ford Building and that worked perfect for December.
Every event will be priced on an individual basis. A lot of this first summer was getting out there and troubleshooting the process. Seeing what it takes, what it costs, and how to provide the best service to you, for your event. Please check out our pricing under the mobile tab. That’s a great place to get a rough idea but every event has individual needs and we will do our best to meet them.
Our trailer is licensed through the health department. What that means for you as a customer is that you are being served a safe product. The inspector checked it out and gave us the ok to operate. There are several areas they look at and if you have any questions about what that process looks like or why it’s important to us to serve you safely let me know. I’m happy to answer questions.
